SVP International Distribution & Co-Production
Primarily based in Vancouver, Nolan Pielak is the Head of Canadian Operations for Electric Entertainment, serving as Senior Vice President of International Distribution and Co-Production for the recently launched Electric Distribution since early 2014.
While primarily handling international television sales and digital distribution on Electric’s worldwide hit TNT/NBC series “The Librarians,” as well as Ridley Scott’s new upcoming original PBS drama series “Mercy Street,” Pielak’s 18+ years of international distribution experience is mainly in feature films, ranging from the wide release theatrical Warner Bros. films he handled in his five years selling for Franchise Pictures in Los Angeles, to the popular Disney franchises of Air Bud and Air Buddies he sold during his several years as Head of Distribution at Keystone Entertainment.
Pielak has been instrumental in building the feature line-up in Electric’s international division, most notably on his recent acquisitions of Go With Me starring Anthony Hopkins, and An Ordinary Man starring Ben Kingsley, which is current in post-production. In his co-production role with the company, Pielak is actively pursuing larger scale feature production and TV series ventures in Canada and overseas as well.
Nolan currently resides in North Vancouver, BC, with his wife and three children.
