Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs

As Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, Erica guides business and legal affairs operations across Electric’s film, television, live event, and podcast projects and advises all in-house teams on a multitude of legal matters. Erica serves as lead production counsel for all of Electric’s original films and television series, handling legal matters throughout the course of the project. Erica is responsible for structuring, drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating talent and production agreements, as well as development, acquisitions, and licensing agreements. She is also responsible for evaluating rights issues and clearances for the above-mentioned projects. 

Prior to joining Electric Entertainment, Erica was Associate Counsel, Business & Legal Affairs for Skybound Entertainment, home of “The Walking Dead” and “Invincible”.  Erica handled agreements in support of business units including television and film, video games, editorial, marketing and merchandise.  Erica served as lead in-house counsel for Skybound’s podcasts, including “Impact Winter”, a scripted long-form fiction Audible Original that rose to #1 on Audible+ and #3 on Apple Fiction. Before Skybound, Erica was the Contracts Manager for Marvel Television.

Erica received her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University and has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from The University of Miami.
