The large scale action/adventure film “Flyboys,” is inspired by the true story of a group of young American boys who volunteered to enter World War I, seeking adventure. These boys became some of the world’s first fighter pilots, and a new kind of hero was born.
James Franco, one of the leads of the “Spiderman” trilogy, stars along with Martin Henderson and Jean Reno. Directed by Academy-Award winner Tony Bill and produced by Dean Devlin (Independence Day, The Patriot) and Marc Frydman (The Contender) the film boasts over 800 digital FX shots and was shot entirely on Panavision’s new Genesis 35mm digital cameras.
