As Chief Financial Officer, Rick Shane oversees Finance and Accounting for all aspects of Electric’s operations including production and distribution. In this role he is responsible for securing financing for company production and growth initiatives.

Formerly he was a senior financial management consultant specializing in the media and tech sectors. In this capacity he completed mergers and acquisitions for several venture-funded companies and was instrumental in securing multiple rounds of strategic financing for his clients.
Prior to this, Rick held the position of CFO & EVP of Centropolis Effects, a visual effects company created by Dean Devlin & Roland Emmerich. He was also CFO for Promark Entertainment Group in Los Angeles and London; and has held senior executive financial positions at Artisan Entertainment; Rome-based satellite TV broadcaster Orbit Communications Company; as well as key management positions with CBS Films and ABC television network.
Rick has been a speaker and guest panelist at Showbiz Expo, has served the Academy of TV Arts & Sciences (ATAS) as a committee member and was a member of the British Academy of Film and TV Arts (BAFTA).

He has a Bachelors degree in Accounting and has received an MBA from the University of Southern California (USC). He was also a participant in the UCLA Anderson School of Management’s Inaugural “Global Entertainment Executives Program”.
